MazeEngineers and BehaviorCloud Announce a Collaboration to Improve the Sharing of Behavioral Research Data

Neuroscience hardware company partners with a collaborative, AI-enabled preclinical R&D platform

Behavior Cloud has been chipping away at a cloud-based system for storing preclinical behavioral research data. An intuitive application complete with dashboard for displaying multiple tests and a simple presentation of basic statistics concerning those tests.

The results of any test can be shared, over the cloud, with anybody in the world. Long-distance sharing of preclinical research results has never been so easy. From animal studies to research into human physiology, any kind of clinical study can be plugged into BehaviorCloud’s system and its results are instantly shareable with scientists all over the world. Compatible with Android and iOS devices, there is no need for a fancy computer to access the data.

BehaviorCloud and MazeEngineers integrate to provide one cohesive, end-to-end experience for efficiently running behavioral testing and analysis-- whether you're capturing video, beam data, telemetry or all of the above.

Shuhan He, Chief Scientific Officer MazeEngineers

For the founder of MazeEngineers, Shuhan He, working with BehaviorCloud was a chance he couldn’t pass up:

BehaviorCloud and MazeEngineers integrate to provide one cohesive, end-to-end experience for efficiently running behavioral testing and analysis -- whether you're capturing video, beam data, telemetry or all of the above.”

The goal of MazeEngineers, a subsidiary of He’s parent company ConductScience, is simple. High-quality mazes are developed and distributed to as many scientists around the world as possible.

BehaviorCloud is a system which will help MazeEngineers to achieve this goal. The former’s technology is compatible with many of the latter’s mazes, including the Barnes Maze and the Morris Water Maze. An animal’s steps can be automatically logged by BehaviorCloud, and the data easily transferable to any research partners over the cloud.
