McMillin U Students Finding Early Success

McMillin Realty is proud to announce the early successes of its new agent education program, McMillin U. This dynamic program has allowed new licensees to get a foothold in the business by learning from seasoned real estate veteran Yvonne Cromer.

This dynamic program has allowed new licensees to get a foothold in the business by learning from seasoned real estate veteran Yvonne Cromer, who teaches the classes and personally mentors each student to ensure they start their career path in the right direction.

"I am really excited - I feel like the 'Mom' to all of these agents," said Yvonne Cromer, Director of McMillin U, "It is a source of pride knowing I am helping to shape their development. I want to see all of my students find success." Mrs. Cromer leads the twice-weekly sessions, and is available 24/7 for one-on-one questions and coaching opportunities.

The goal of the McMillin U program is to ensure that all the new agents' activities and transactions are reviewed and assisted by an industry professional. This extra attention gives buyers and sellers confidence in the new agents and also ensures that the agents represent McMillin Realty with the highest levels of service, accuracy, and thoroughness that consumers have come to expect from the McMillin brand.

Even more exciting than the program itself are the results the students in McMillin U are already achieving. From the inaugural class of 18 agents, launched in early February 2013, three transactions have closed, with four more pending completion and many more in the works. "All the things I have taught these agents are coming together for them," continued Mrs. Cromer, "I'm seeing results with many of my students - everything is working as it should."

The course was developed and designed by McMillin Realty and covers: Intro to business, learning the lingo, expectations as a professional, contracts, risk management, and how to market one's agent business. It is essentially a crash course in owning a small business and a jumpstart on a career in real estate. "I help them figure out what they are comfortable with and how we can explore that to develop their business," concluded Mrs. Cromer, "We are looking to tap into their strengths so they can flourish in this industry. We want everyone to succeed. It's in the nature of who we are at McMillin."
