• The focal point of MEDecision's activity is a social gathering the company is hosting tonight from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium. Open to all HiMSS attendees, the free event is the largest of its kind at the conference and includes full access to the Aquarium's extensive exhibits and attractions, a performance by 2010 Grammy Award winner Colbie Caillat, open bar and complimentary refreshments.

• Reinforcing its commitment to improving relationships between patients, payers and providers, MEDecision will participate in demonstrations of health information exchange in the HiMSS Interoperability Showcase, which is held in booth #233, Hall C, from March 1-3. Menschik will present a session entitled "Real-World Applications of IHE XDS" at the Interoperability Showcase on Tuesday, March 2 at 12:15 p.m.

• Other MEDecision activities at HiMSS include sponsoring the sold-out Payer Symposium, which was held on Sunday and focused on the importance of increasing collaboration among all healthcare constituents; and the Payer Roundtable breakfast, which is being held tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. and is similarly themed.
