Media Sign Pro to Release Major Upgrade for Mac-Based Digital Signage Software
Online, April 6, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Digital signage software publisher Media Sign Pro has announced they will be releasing a major upgrade, version 4.0, to their software this spring.
"Version 4.0 will be a great leap for Media Sign Pro," states Chris Lee, President of Media Sign Pro. "We have been working very closely with our partners and clients to identify key features that would make our software even more usable and flexible than it is now. They have spoken, we have listened, and now we will deliver."
Lee explained that one feature will include social networking integration that will create a means to have audiences communicate with the digital sign. Another major feature will be a template library that allows a user to choose from professionally designed templates as a starting point for their digital sign.
The most powerful new feature, however, may be one allowing users to make certain updates to the sign remotely via the Internet with just a few clicks and without disrupting the sign.
"Users want to have the freedom to update their signs from anywhere in the world or to give specific zone access to members of their team," says Lee. "With previous versions this was indeed a pain-point. Version 4.0 will resolve this and at the same time add the ability to update sections of the sign while restricting access to others."
After its launch last July, Media Sign Pro has quickly risen as one of the leaders in the Mac-based digital signage industry. The software allows users to create highly customized digital signage layouts containing videos, images, news feeds, and more, in a very user friendly environment.
As of now, there is no specific release date for the update, however, Lee does indicate that 4.0 is in the final stages of testing and may be released as early as May.
