Joppel, a website affiliated with HealthCompare, has released information on many aspects of Medicare and Medicare plan selection. The information is designed to aid new and potential Medicare beneficiaries during the Medicare plan selection process.

Medicare is a government-sponsored program which provides health insurance for Americans over the age of 65 and for those with certain medical conditions and disabilities. Not all Medicare coverage is the same, however. There are a multitude of plans, some of which may or may not be available to all applicants.

Many of these plans appear quite similar at first glance but are actually significantly different. This can make the selection of a plan confusing and difficult, but also very important. Those new to Medicare in particular often confront major difficulties. Luckily, Joppel is aware of these challenges and is dedicated to helping its users to select an appropriate plan available to them.
According to the Joppel Website, "What you choose will affect how much you pay, what benefits you have, which doctors you can see, and other things that may be important to you."
Joppel provides information on many different aspects of Medicare and plan selection. An example of the type of information that Joppel provides is a description and comparison between the four major parts of Medicare: Medicare Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D.

Medicare Part A covers inpatient care in hospitals. Medicare Part B covers more routine medical services such as doctor visits and check-ups. Medicare Part C covers Medicare Advantage, a number of private health care plans that are approved by Medicare. Medicare Part D covers prescription drug coverage.

Another example of the information provided by Joppel is which plans may be available to a user. Joppel offers a search tool which allows users to input certain information about themselves, such as age, gender, and location of residence. The search tool then provides a list of plans which are available to them.

Joppel is currently available online, and can be found at https://www.joppel.com.
