New York, N.Y., September 23, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Meet FINI, the Kitchen KnifeIt’s a knife that has been completely re-engineered. This never before seen innovation in cutlery already has the blessing of a Michelin star and award winning New York chef and restaurateur.
Introducing FINI Cutlery. Side by side demonstrations show that FINI Cutlery is the clear winner in all five performance categories. They are also the most comfortable and safest knives ever invented. With FINI, everyone can cut and chop like a pro, with confidence. A Kickstarter campaign for the blades reached its funding goal in the first week of a 30 day campaign.
"I think that this knife is going to revolutionize the way we use knives in the kitchen."
Michael Psilakis, Michelin Star chef
FINI was invented by entrepreneur Peter Rigas, who partnered with Michelin Star chef Michael Psilakis, who owns seven New York restaurants and has appeared on a number of cooking shows. Rigas says, "I set out to design, develop and build better knives for the pros, but make them easier and safer for everyone else to use. The result is arguably the most beautiful cutlery in the world.”
Psilakis, whose eateries include KEFI and MP Taverna, said FINI knives are engineered for maximum control, precision and safety. “I knew immediately when Peter gave me this prototype that we had something special here,” he said. “I think that this knife is going to revolutionize the way we use knives in the kitchen.”
FINI’s Kickstarter campaign will continue until Oct. 14. Donors can receive discounts on the knives, or the knives themselves, depending on their level of support. A five-piece set includes a 7-inch Santuko knife, an 8-inch chef knife, a 10-inch chef knife, an 8-inch serrated bread knife and 3.5-inch paring knife.
