Meet 'Nexus Q' The Media Streaming Player From Google
Online, July 23, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Nexus Q, the latest release of Google is a media streaming player that is Android based. The Q as it has been called by Google is a major new addition to Google applications. The aim of Google to bring out this new application player is to address the needs of customers bring more original content into their living rooms.
A number of included features with the Nexus Q are Micro HDMI, NFC and Bluetooth. The Q supports other intelligent and advanced features for optical audio output, micro USB port, standard banana jack speaker outputs as well. There is an included built - in amplifier for the user to connect with speakers where a more dedicated application is provided.
The Q has even wider colorful LED lights that have improved the lighting in the center of the device. There are a number of similar physical controls and entertainment value add-ons that customer would want to integrate with the application. The latest media player of Google the Nexus Q is priced at 299 $ and is currently available for pre-order while also ready for shipment from mid-July onwards.
Current competition between the Nexus Q and the Apple TV has seemingly notched up with Sonos and Logitech as well. The Sony application for media player is also in competition with the Nexus Q. The pricing for Nexus Q is evidently the third of apple TV and a price cut with a number of such competitive application features is expected to follow and come out a winner in the Q.
Sony, Apple and Logitech are close in following these developments and it is only a matter of time before the more stronger in terms of pricing, placement and promotions would take the lead. Altogether the Nexus Q new media player from Google for streaming content and live feeds might be successful with new range of features and add-ons also.
