College Station, Texas, March 13th, 2010

Tompkins Research (TR) today announced that the first shipment of Bedfan personal cooling systems have arrived in Colombia and should be available to the public very soon. The Bedfan systems were originally slated to arrive in Colombia late last year, but were delayed due to the economic happenings within the U.S.,

Many people suffering from night sweats these days have few options when it comes to finding comfort while sleeping. There are remedies such as sweat absorbing pajamas and cold pillows, but these products did not attack the root cause for sweating at night. The Bedfan changed that, the cooling system was designed to help keep ones body comfortable at night by eliminating the body heat that builds up between the sheets. It helps to deal with the variations in body temperatures seen by many that find themselves sweating while sleeping. One woman recently said the Bedfan was analogous to standing under a water fall without getting wet. The product allows people to stop the nighttime sweating by keeping their bodies and their beds cooler. It works for all sufferers of night sweats, it is not only for menopause night sweats , but for medical related sweats, drug induced sweats as well as male night sweats

"The whole idea behind the product was to help people regulate their sleeping environment by delivering a gentle breeze that would float between their sheets and push the hot air out." said Kurt Tompkins, the developer of the Bedfan. " the concept is simple, you keep your body cool enough and the night sweats will never start. It sounds strange to many people at first but we have thousands of happy women in the U.S. that have had their lives change."

Mr. Tompkins added, "In today's banker induced financial crises, it is difficult for companies in the U.S. to maintain sales levels that allow for survival. It is necessary for those of us still manufacturing in the U.S. to find alternative markets, that wont over tax American made products."

The company hopes to continue the growth of its exports while maintaining its primary production within the USA.
