"Messed Up Life" enables advertisers to build their brand and products into the web series in a way that seamlessly creates an emotional link between a brand, a growing community and a global audience. Social Media combined with online branded entertainment offers a whole new level of flexibility, interaction and engagement.
Priscilla Obermeier, Co-Creator/Producer/Writer/Director on "Messed Up Life": "We wanted to establish a connection with the Messed Up Life community via an episodic show with a well developed story line and strong, identifiable characters. At the same time we wanted to give the audience a chance to "play" with the series. Finding a way to do that is a great next step in interactive social entertainment.
Markus Obermeier, Co-Creator/ Producer on "Messed Up Life": "Producing "Messed Up Life" for MessedUpLife.com, is like interacting with a global studio audience whose comments determine the situations and storyline of the show. The premise of the show is Hollywood. But if a community member shares a great Messed Up story about Vegas. We head for Vegas".
The Messed Up Life web series shows the trials and tribulations of wealthy, eccentric, Hollywood children's book writer, Larry Williams and his 4 roommates: Chester Williams, Larry's son, an ivy league drop out in quarterlife crisis, Derrick Finch, Larry's prospective ex-son in law and assistant to the female CEO of a global television production company, Clarence Hill, the African American General Counsel to Derrick's boss, who also happens to be Clarence's ex-wife... and Q, a large breed Newfoundland dog with a sarcastic view on life.
"Messed Up Life" can be followed via MessedUpLife.com, Youtube and Facebook. Newfoundland dog Q, also shares his Hollywood life with his 4 roommates on his own Twitter page: MessedUpLifecom.
