Michael Cutter's Newly Released "Good Dogs From the Land of Bad Things" Is a Raw, Tell All Story of a Man and His Dog and Their Journey in Dangerous Lands.
"Good Dogs from the Land of Bad Things" from Christian Faith Publishing author Michael Cutter is a gut-wrenching story of a man and a dog that shouldn't be alive, but thanks to the grace of God, they are here to tell their story.
New York, NY, June 15, 2016 (Newswire.com) - “Good Dogs from the Land of Bad Things”: a gripping and potent book with challenges every step of the way and mountains to be moved by Marvin and Michael. With the help of the Lord above and some incredible friends who were willing to lend a hand along the way, the two survived the great voyage. “Good Dogs from the Land of Bad Things” is the creation of published author, Michael Cutter, a blessed first time author.
Michael was born and raised in New England by great parents, who gave him a cool childhood and imparted to him his love of dogs. He cut his teeth, so to speak, in Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children. After eleven years in the Marines, he packed up and shipped out to Colombia, working as a contractor in the antinarcotics biz. While there, Michael met the woman who changed his life and brought him to this journey with God. After getting hurt, he managed to be blessed with a great job in Vermont, where his wife became a citizen of this great country and God worked in their lives to bring them many blessings and a lot of learning through great people. After four years of a great job, making new weapons for the military, he got to go to Afghanistan, where he worked as a contractor in antinarcotics again.
Cutter states, “I have no sand in my food, no one is shooting at me, I am not sleeping in a tent, and I will probably make it to bed alive tonight. I am highly blessed and favored, thankful, and rejoice in every day the Lord has made.”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Michael Cutter’s new book is a story of military and world history, faith and belief, religious and cultural contradictions and challenges and, above all, the unbelievable healing power of unconditional love.
Author Michael Cutter further explains by saying, "Do you believe in miracles? You will after you read this book. There is no reason for me to be writing this or being able to tell this story. There is no reason for a dog named Marvin to be alive. From his beginning in a war-torn Afghanistan through the journeys and experiences we shared, every step of the way was a challenge, and mountains were moved with the help of the Lord above and some incredible friends who helped along the way. From the orders to destroy dogs on bases to the inability to take an animal across the border that bleeds heroin, opium, jihadists, and weapons, Marvin has no logical reason to be here. Just like life, there are joy and tragedy, hope and faith, frustrations, losses, and triumphs in these pages. Sit back, relax, and let’s take an incredible, true journey."
