Gold Winner—Dawn Pilkington is an outcome-oriented program manager, leading and coaching high-performing teams to deliver desired results for Federal clients. She consistently demonstrates exceptional skills in client engagement and consulting, team leadership and coaching, and improved performance results for the Federal programs she supports. Directed contracts for 18 Federal programs, valued up to $50M with teams of up to 60 staff and 100 subcontractors and consultants. Managed several contract vehicles and types.
Bronze Winner—Kumud “K” Sharma is a dedicated, passionate HR professional, who ensures the comfort, safety, and fulfillment of employees every day. She is a devoted mother and wife, a steadfast student, and a formidable director. After putting the degree off to start a family and get her career off the ground, K decided that, with six courses left, she was going to push through. She finished in three quarters, determined to enrich her career all while working long hours at MicroHealth and caring for her two children, 13 and 11 years old. She is now applying for a Ph.D.
