Midsouth Consulting Group Announces Name Change

Online, October 19, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Midsouth Consulting Group today announced plans to change its name. The new name, Avintus, is a derivative of the Italian word "Avanti" which means "move forward". The company, which already services clients across the country, wanted a name that reflected both its capabilities to grow beyond regional borders and the company's forward-thinking business strategy.

According to Jason Carpenter, the company's CEO, this name change is indicative of the evolution of the company. "Since 1976, Midsouth has served the HR and retirement plan administration needs of its clients," says Carpenter. "Because of our explosive growth in the last 10 years and our ability to offer human resources, 401k administration, and payroll solutions to more clients than ever before, we have chosen a name that is indicative of progress as an organization".

Richard Tatum, President of Midsouth Consulting, is thrilled with the name change. "When we started discussions on changing our name, we knew we wanted something reflective of our desire to continue innovating in the HRO and 401K administration space," says Tatum.
