MILUS Celebrates "The Playful Spirit of Time"

Online, October 25, 2010 (Newswire.com) - MILUS and Cortina Watch hosted an exclusive private party on October 14, 2010 at one of Singapore's latest ultra-premium rooftop bar & lounge, Lantern at The Fullerton Bay Hotel - to celebrate the brand and the new MILUS Tirion TriRetrograde timepiece 2010 models. The finely hand-crafted and exquisite limited edition MILUS Tirion Repetition Minutes TriRetrograde timepiece was the key highlight. Guests were very delighted with the live demonstration session of the timepiece and the opportunity to intimately view the timepiece and accessory collection. The event was well-attended by more than 300 select VIP guests of Cortina Watch, journalists, timepiece connoisseurs and aficionados.

Set against the breath-taking scenic view of Singapore's business district skyline, the evening began with a welcome address by Mr Jeremy Lim, Regional General Manager of Cortina Watch, followed by an introduction to the MILUS brand by Mr Jan Edöcs, President and CEO of MILUS International SA, who had flown in all the way from Switzerland. "MILUS celebrates an individual's highly personal moments in life, MILUS is not only measuring time: the watch and accessory collection embodies the playful spirit of time together with superb artistry, creativity and precision" said Mr Edöcs.

The poolside cocktail party climaxed with a very artistic song & dance performance - "The Playful Spirit of Time". Guests were treated to stunning solo performances by friends of MILUS Julia Abueva, Jazz Crooner, Dylan Foster and Joie Tinsay, followed by a magical music ensemble performance by the three artistes. The spectactular magical performance was specially arranged by renowned friend of MILUS, Ms Kuo Po, the Artistic Director of Precious Entertainment.

The evening of revelry continued with guests treated to private live demonstration sessions of the new limited edition Tirion Repetition Minutes timepiece, and the new magical Key Holder, conducted in a special marquee for a personal and unique experience. In addition, throughout the rest of the evening, MILUS model ambassadors delighted guests with an up-close showcase of the timepiece and accessory collection which includes the new MILUS Tirion TriRetrograde 2010 timepiece collection and Merea TriRetrograde 2010 models. The timepieces were also presented in special showcase displays at the bar lounge for an up-close viewing experience.

Cocktails, fine champagnes and wines were served to party the night away.

All in all , the event was a stylish celebration and a successful launch of the Tirion Repetition Minutes. It also reinforced the watch-making mastery of MILUS, the brand's continued commitment to the measurement of time and redefining the meaning of luxury - in a playful spirit.
