Online, March 29, 2011 (Newswire.com) - A member of the Minding Your Matters® team is now organizing social media for an international organizing industry association.
Organizing Consultant Jennifer Wig is the Social Media Chair for the Institute of Challenging Disorganization (ICD). The ICD is the premier resource on chronic disorganization and strives to educate professional organizers and the public about those challenges.
The Social Media Chair is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the ICD's social media accounts. This includes working with the ICD to create a comprehensive social media strategy, producing fresh, useful content for those platforms through the use of pictures, video and words. The chair also monitors social media trends that may be useful to the ICD for disseminating information about the group and its mission.
"Jennifer's contribution to ICD as Social Media Chair has been invaluable," said ICD Marketing Director Janine Adams. "She brings knowledge and experience to the role and has done a stellar job of keeping ICD's name in front of its fans and followers."
Wig worked in print, broadcast and web journalism prior to joining Minding Your Matters. She also owns her own business as a writer and editor, and maintains social media accounts for other clients. She joined Minding Your Matters in 2010.
"I am proud to have my team members involved in our professional organizations," said Janice Russell, Overseer of Order at Minding Your Matters. "Jennifer's background and new passion for organizing have contributed greatly to both the ICD and for our clients."
