MindWorks Photography, other businesses, joining forces to assist food pantry, families

Online, September 21, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Muskego, Wisconsin -- MindWorks Photography LLC, a firm offering photography and portrait packages for weddings, high school seniors, baby, sports, and pets, among other special events and memorable occasions, has announced it is teaming up with other local businesses to hold an event that will simultaneously benefit the Muskego Food Pantry, housed at E.J. Salentine Buick Pontiac on Janesville Road, and families looking to have new portraits taken just in time to hand out to family and friends over the holidays.

On Thursday and Friday, November 12 and 13, from 5:00-7:00; and on Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15, from 9:00-7:00, MindWorks will be offering a portrait package for $75.00. Normally priced at $225.00, families are not just receiving the generous $150.00 discount, but will receive that amount in credit towards the purchasing of the prints. In addition, for each $75.00 package sold, MindWorks will be donating $10.00 to the Muskego Food Pantry. Families taking advantage of the tremendous offer are simply asked to provide a bag of non-perishable groceries to benefit the food pantry.

Other local businesses teaming up with MindWorks to make the event possible, include, among others: Intrepid Innovations Inc., which has donated time to public relations efforts; Thompson Dental, who is donating a toothbrush and toothpaste to the food pantry for each family photographed; Matty's Bar and Grille, who will be providing a catered lunch to attendees on the event's Saturday, November 14; Infinity Exteriors, who is donating $1.00 for each family photographed to benefit the food pantry; and Terri Zebron of Tastefully Simple, who is donating an easy-to-make Tastefully Simple dessert for each family photographed.

There will also be local music acts performing during the course of the event.
