Minister John Perry TD Announces 20 New Jobs At Presidion's Launch

John Perry TD, Minister of State for Small Business, announced the re-branding of Irish owned company Presidion, its' expansion into the UK market and a Graduate Programme in which the company plans to recruit 20 graduates over the next 3 years.

In his speech, the Minister stressed the significance and importance of growth in the Irish indigenous economy, and that Presidion exemplified the type of company that will be central to Ireland's economic recovery.

Presidion, originally SPSS Ireland, was established, in Dublin, in 1995. The organisation has evolved to become one the leaders in the provision of Analytics Software and Services in Ireland and a key strategic partner of IBM in the field of Predictive Analytics. Servicing over 500 accounts and thousands of customers, in Ireland, its client base spans across public and commercial organisations. Under the guidance of M.D. Cathy McGennis, Presidion is currently planning its expansion into the UK, providing an expected 20 jobs in the process.

A reception was held on the exclusive Hibernian Club on St. Stephen's Green to celebrate the re-branding of the company where M.D. Cathy McGennis shared with guests the new and exciting plans of Presidion and welcomed guest speakers John Perry TD, Minister of State for Small Business and Peter O'Neill, Country Manager of IBM.

Peter O'Neill expressed his excitement at the recent IBM Partnership with Presidion as they become IBMs biggest predictive analytics partner, and emphasised the investment and vision IBM has globally to expand on their dominance in the analytics sphere.
