Ultralingua, best known for their popular applications for iPhone and iPad, makes Spanish, French, German, Italian, and other language software for students, travelers, and business professionals. Nonprofit workers and volunteers often use the Ultralingua language software to communicate across language barriers. Knowing this, the company created a branch of its Apps for Aid program to provide support through the sale of their premier language tools.

"This component of the Apps for Aid program gives us a way to give back when creating an app isn't the best option," Jeff Ondich, Ultralingua's CTO said. "We chose the Red Cross because their work has always stood out to our team, especially in the context of disaster relief.
The Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families.
Individuals interested in supporting the event can purchase Ultralingua, Collins, and Vox translation dictionaries from Ultralingua's website and the iTunes App Store on January 12th and 13th.
Ultralingua products span thirteen languages, and are available in many combinations. Features include:
