CONFRONTATIONAL CLOTHING WILL LAUNCH THEIR FALL 2011 COLLECTION while hosting a fashion show at Red Zone in Old City Philadelphia located at 35 S. 2nd St. 19106 on Friday August 5, 2011 at 10pm. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be returning to Philadelphia that same weekend. Confrontational Clothing will have MMA fighters, gyms, and media as their special guests. They will also have a live stream of the fashion show available to view online. There will be an after party following the show which will also be held at Red Zone. This is Confrontational Clothing's second fashion show this year. The first was held in March at G Lounge, also in Philadelphia. 10 % of all online garment sales for a 60 day period will be donated to The University of Pennsylvania's Encephalopathy program, to raise awareness for the brain trauma sometimes brought on through an MMA fighter's fearless lifestyle.
Wil Willis a South Jersey native, began promoting fashion in Hollywood, California at top nightlife venues in 2006. Wil, a Mixed Martial Arts fighter, student of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA FIGHT PROMOTER, began his campaign in the fashion world in 2009 when he launched Confrontational Clothing.
Confrontational Clothing's garments, with designs geared toward MMA fighters, are perfect for the ring because of their durable construction and aggressive message. While Wil began to build their following, partner John R. Scott (J.R.) has put his English degree and marketing background to use developing the company's brand. An overwhelming response from customers caused Wil and J.R. to add more designs and swimwear to the male and female collections. Confrontational Clothing has grown in leaps and bounds because of the team's constant promotion on both the east and west coasts. Confrontational Clothing not only sponsors elite level MMA fighters and grapplers, but they have also started breaking ground in the world of Xgames, Formula 1, and nightlife Djing.
