Model/Actress Becomes Brain Damaged and Writes and Radio Show Hosts
Online, March 9, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Lori Finnila was an aspiring model/actress in New York. She married, then divorced. Ran to NY to model, then came back physically injured only to sustain lifelong injuries. She is a domestic violence survivor who has written three published books about domestic violence trying to bring attention to the ways of domestic violence. Lori pulled herself out from this by herself after running from domestic violence for years and suffering a permanent brain injury due to this.
Lori created a show Women Empowerment Hour, an hourly talk show at Blogtalk Radio, to bring strength and unity to women once a week on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm EST at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/lorifinnila. Show schedule, personal interviews, and biography are at: http://www.lorifinnila.webs.com and her biography and personal interview schedule are at http://www.myspace.com/lorifinnila under blogs.
She is currently working on a free online magazine, Women Empowerment Magazine, which will be put out quarterly and available for women to help their businesses prosper and for them to voice their opinions and personal experiences. This should be out some time in June. Information will be posted at her websites that are listed here.
Lori Finnila currently resides in Oregon and her three published books are "The Last Day I Was Me," formerly "My Brain Injury" (to be released soon) "Black Sheep Never Cry, Dedicated to the memory of John F. Kennedy, Jr.," and "The Virtuous Woman." They are all up at Turner Maxwell Books in London online and at Amazon through LJ Publishing. She is aspiring to have her work produced for movies and to partake in the production of these and eventually open a Women Production House.
