Online, June 21, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Moey's Music Party, an award-winning children's band, today announced that its new DVD & CD, Happily Ever Moey! A Fairy Tale Lark in Central Park, will be available to purchase on July 12, 2011.

Happily Ever Moey! A Fairy Tale Lark in Central Park, winner of a 2011 Parents' Choice Award, will be available at moeysmusicparty.com, CDBaby.com and on iTunes and will retail for $19.95. This musical fairy tale collection marks Moey's first DVD and second CD. Her self-titled debut CD garnered a Dr. Toy award and rave reviews from moms, magazines, and even Mayor Bloomberg who wrote a fan letter saying, "Your CD captures so much of what's great in New York City."

In Happily Ever Moey! A Fairy Tale Lark in Central Park, Central Park is the enchanted forest where 15 beloved fairy tales come to life as colorful, fun, rocking songs featuring 65 New York City children. The music videos offer modern-day twists on classic tales by Aesop, the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson. "The Three Bears" becomes a parable about protecting the environment; "Little Red Riding Hood" rescues herself with a judo kick; and the true princess in "The Princess in the Pea" donates her 20 mattresses to the homeless, preferring to sleep on a king-size futon.

Moey's clever use of Central Park locations include the Big Bad Wolf attempting to blow down Tavern on the Green, the country mouse and the city mouse noshing from a hot dog cart as well as Sleeping Beauty holding court with her maidens at Belvedere Castle.
