MOGA -Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association Welcomes Dr. Claudia Moise to Germantown Office

The physicians and staff members of Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association, PC (MOGA) have announced the addition of Dr. Claudia Moise to their medical staff.

The physicians and staff members of Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association, PC (MOGA) have announced the addition of Dr. Claudia Moise to their medical staff.

According to Dr. John Gayden, charter partner with MOGA: "Dr. Moise has been practicing since 1984, and has developed a good reputation within the Memphis area during that time. She comes to MOGA with a strong base of experience, and a heart for the community. We are extremely proud to welcome her to our practice."

Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Moise is a graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Texas School of Medicine. After completing her residency through the University of Tennessee in 1984, she began her practice with the Health First Medical Group. In 1990, she and her fellow OB/GYN physicians left the multi-specialty group and went into practice as OB/GYN Specialists. Dr. Moise continued to practice there until October of last year.

"One of my goals as a physician," says Moise, "is to give more information to my patients about alternatives to routine medications. In so many cases today, our society fails to consider the once-common alternatives of exercise, proper dieting, and basic lifestyle modifications."

Although she will not be practicing obstetrics, Dr. Moise looks forward to providing gynecological care for women ranging from adolescence into the later years. Additionally, she will be treating areas including menopause, osteoporosis, and general well-woman care. She will be seeing patients in MOGA's office on the campus of Methodist-Germantown Hospital on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Dr. Moise is married to Dr. Richard Aycock, a gastroenterologist who also practices in Memphis. She and her husband have three grown daughters. Outside of the office, she enjoys horseback riding, working in the yard, performing Yoga, and running. She and her husband also have a ranch in Como, MS, where they raise cows. Additionally, Dr. Moise has done extensive volunteer medical work at the Church Health Center.

Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association, PC (MOGA) is one of the largest providers of women's healthcare in the Memphis area, with offices at Wolfchase, Methodist-Germantown Hospital, Baptist Women's Hospital, and in Southaven. In addition to providing comprehensive women's care, the practice offers photo-rejuvenation, hair and vein removal, and a variety of other cosmetic services.
