MOGA - Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association Welcomes EMR Applications Specialist
Online, November 16, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The physicians and staff members of Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association, PC (MOGA) have announced the promotion of Kathleen Stiles, RN as EMR Applications Specialist. She will be working with MOGA's four offices to transfer the practice's work flow from its current system of paper charts to the computer-based Med3000 InteGreat system.
Stiles has been with MOGA for the past 22 years, and has previously worked as a triage nurse and office manager. She was tapped to serve as the practice's EMR Application Specialist due to her familiarity with the clinical setting and her orientation for detail. She received her RN certification from the Methodist School of Nursing in 1986 and her BSN from the University of Memphis in 2000. She is married with two grown children. Outside of the office, she enjoys photography and coaching junior high volleyball.
According to Robert Burns, Practice Administrator for MOGA: "We have high hopes for MOGA's transition from paper records to electronic. This is a major step for us, and one that has come after months of research and analysis. We believe that this will ultimately allow us to provide more efficient care for our patients, and I'm excited about seeing Kathleen in action as she coordinates this."
