Momtreprenuer Launches Zero-Toxin Cleaning Line on Kickstarter, Set To Challenge Major Cleaning Brands
Centennial, CO, March 12, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Veraclean CEO, Kimberly Jones, announced the launch of a 60-day crowdfunding campaign for their new line of natural cleaning products, which began March 9th on Kickstarter.com.
The company has developed and tested a comprehensive lineup of household concentrates, hand soaps, and lotions using only natural cleaning surfactants, citrus citrates, and essential oils.
"We're excited to share affordable products that deliver phenomenal cleaning power, without the use of toxins like bleach, ammonia, triclosan, or synthetic coloring and fragrances."

Key to their offering are the four concentrated solutions: a multi-surface cleaner, a glass cleaner, bath and shower cleaner, and the first ever antibacterial concentrate to receive 25-b exempt* status in the state of Colorado. Each solution features a four-year shelf life and costs consumers approximately $0.25 per bottle when diluted properly.
“Cleaning has been a big part of my life,” commented Jones. “I’m excited to share affordable products that deliver phenomenal cleaning power, without the use of toxins like bleach, ammonia, triclosan, or synthetic coloring and fragrances.”
Jones explained further that one of her primary aims is to build awareness, and pressure, to enact change to labeling regulations in the industry.
“As I’ve researched so many of the prevalent cleaning products on the market, it is shocking to me how many disguised pollutants are entering our homes. These conversations need to happen, because right now companies are only required to disclose the ingredients that pose a more imminent threat to our health, on their labeling.”
To enable commercial production and promote their cause, VeraClean is seeking additional financial resources through the crowdfunding website Kickstarter.com, where supporters can receive one of 13 environment-conscious rewards.
Portions of the funding will also go toward registering for 25-b exempt status in all 50 states of the U.S, not just in Colorado. In Jones’ view, such recognition will provide the needed clout to force more conversation regarding full-disclosure of ingredients by any retail cleaning brand.
