Money® Cologne and Eau De Parfum Recognizes Miami-Dade Police Officer Vicki Thomas with Its First-Ever

LiquidMoney, LLC, maker of Money® Cologne and Eau de Parfum, recognizes Officer Vicki Thomas for her generous actions toward Jessica Robles with the first-ever Money Person of the Week Award.

Last month, Miami-Dade Police Officer Vicki Thomas was called to the scene of a shoplifting at a Publix Grocery Store. But this was no ordinary shoplifting job. Jessica Robles had loaded up her shopping cart with $300 worth of groceries and walked out. When Vicki asked Jessica why she did it, Jessica answered very simply, "My children are hungry." So Vicki checked out Jessica's background, found it was clear of major crimes, so she went into Publix and bought Jessica and her children $100 worth of groceries. And Vicki reports that, while this case was a little unusual, officers going above and beyond the call of duty and helping out the people they're dealing with isn't unusual.

But it actually gets better for Jessica. After news of this story broke, ABC reports that a local employer saw it and called Jessica up because he had a position open in his business. He interviewed her and she now has a job.

"We designed Money® Cologne and Eau de Parfum to inspire and motivate people to become successful," said Patrick McCarthy, the founder of the company. "Success comes in all forms. And Vicki Thomas showed that she was willing to look beyond the crime and see the real person in need and - with her own hard-earned cash - to help Jessica Robles out. For that act of generosity, Money® Cologne and Eau de Parfum is recognizing her with its first 'Money Person of the Week' award."

In recognition of her generosity, and at Officer Thomas' request, we will be sending a check for $85 to the Holiday Gifts for Surviving Children Fund of the Police Officer Assistance Trust in Miami. The money represents the retail value of a bottle of Money® Cologne and Eau de Parfum.

Money® Cologne and Eau de Parfum will be on the lookout for more people who act generously with their own resources and we will publicly recognize their efforts. We believe that success isn't limited to material gains, but it's also how generous we are with what we have.

About Money® Cologne and Eau de Parfum - Former Microsoft software executive Patrick McCarthy heard about a Japanese study that showed workers became more productive when the smell of money was pumped through the factory ventilation system. So he decided to come up with a fragrance for his sales team and worked with master perfumer Larry Murrison to develop Money® The Fragrance of Success. Using extracts of cotton, silk and linen, the main ingredients of real U.S. dollars, and packing it in shredded, real U.S. bills, McCarthy has brought out a new fragrance to help people define their success, by smelling like it.
