Monster Chase Update Offers Lite Version, New Languages, and BlackBerry Platform

Snowed In Studios' Monster Chase Lite will be released today as a free companion to the full version of the game, including the addition of three languages bringing the total to six overall, and the new inclusion of the BlackBerry Platform.

Snowed in Studios, an Ottawa-based video game and interactive media developer, and partner Le Scorpion Masque, a Montreal-based board game publisher, announced updates today that will make their engaging and educational Monster Chase game available to more users on iOS/Android/Windows Phone/BlackBerry. Today, Monster Chase Lite will be released as a free companion to the full version of the game, including the addition of three languages bringing the total to six overall, and the new inclusion of the BlackBerry Platform.

Monster Chase is an engaging game for children ages four to nine that helps to increase concentration and memory, develop cognitive ability, and enhance reasoning skills through entertaining gameplay. The full version of the game features five game modes and multiplayer functions. With the new updates, a 'lite' version will now be available that features only the 'Normal' game mode without multiplayer capabilities. The 'lite' version will provide users with the ability to experience the basic version of the game before purchasing of the full version.

In addition to the 'lite' mode, both versions of Monster Chase will now be available with international distribution in six different languages including English, French, German , Italian, Dutch and Spanish. The new languages will heighten the experience for users as they can control the options in the game in their own language. This is especially important for children, who are often not familiar with more than one language. Finally, both the full and 'lite' versions of the game have been added to BlackBerry App World in order to increase access for mobile users, adding to the existing platforms of iOS, Android and Windows Phone.

"We are excited to update Monster Chase and make it available to more users," commented Jean-Sylvain Sormany, President of Snowed In Studios. "We are always looking for ways to provide greater value to our consumers and improve the user experience with our products."
