Mortgage lending improves for the month of March!

Online, April 22, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The month of March provided the much needed breakthrough for the mortgage industry as the lending levels shot up by significant 24 percent. Meanwhile, according to CML (Council of Mortgage Lenders), the subdued phase is expected to roll-on for next few months until it started to get visible. The council supported their observation of rising lending levels with stats that revealed that the market (as a whole body) lent out a sum of £11.5 billion in the month of March. The same figure stood at £9.3 billion in February. Interestingly, the council also highlighted that March 2010 figure was an improvement of 3 percent from last year's same month figure.
