Mother's Day Meets Cinco de Mayo for Los Angeles Disadvantaged Youth

Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities joins partner charity Bresee Youth Center to pay a festive tribute to the mothers of the community on this special day.

Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities (LATLC) are thrilled to once again be supporting Bresee Youth Center's annual Mother's Day Party, which will this year celebrate all things Cinco de Mayo on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Bresee Youth Center in Los Angeles. Twenty outstanding mothers from Bresee's Family Services and Gang Reduction Youth Development Program will be honored on this special day with a delicious Mexican lunch and gifts to encourage self-care and pampering.

Volunteers from law firms across Los Angeles County will be presenting these hardworking mothers with gift bags containing beauty items such as make-up and personal care kits, festive facemasks, and LATLC merchandise. Their families will also be treated to gift bags with LATLC's mascot "Lovey" plush toys and jump ropes. LATLC volunteers will be making sure that this lunch at Bresee Youth Center will be as festive as possible to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, with decorations, heart piƱatas, and a Mariachi band.

"Mother's Day at Bresee Youth Center is one of our favorite events to support each year," says Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities 2022 President, Steve Vartazarian. "Mothers are the backbone of both their families and the community. This lunch is a chance for them to relax and be spoiled while enjoying the Cinco de Mayo festivities."

The Mother's Day Celebration will be taking place at Bresee Youth Center at 184 S. Bimini Place, Los Angeles, on Thursday, May 5, from 11 am-1 pm.
