Maponics, a leader in location-based data for businesses, and Move, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOVE), the leader in online real estate, today announced Maponics School Boundaries TM and Neighborhood Boundaries TM will soon be available on the Move Network of real estate Web sites.
As a result, visitors to the Move Network, including Realtor.com® and Move.com®, will be able to use data from the Maponics School Boundaries product to view school locations for primary, middle, high school and other public schools; private school locations; and attendance zones and district boundaries in relation to homes and apartments of interest.
In addition, through the Neighborhood Boundaries product, visitors on the Move Network will also have instant access to neighborhood boundaries, neighborhood zoning types (e.g., commercial, industrial, residential) and social use designations (e.g. retirement community, cultural or theatre districts, etc.).
"For many families, searching for their next home includes careful consideration of school districts, community amenities and other points of interest before making a decision with confidence on what neighborhoods are right for their needs," said Steve Berkowitz, CEO of Move, Inc. "We're pleased to add these powerful features to our real estate search experience for the millions of home buyers using the Move Network to find their next home."
The newly integrated Maponics feature will be one of many powerful search tools available on the REALTOR.com® site giving visitors an added tool to search and view key elements of cities and communities. Visitors to Move's Network will find that the combination of the Maponics data and the GreatSchoolsTM listing feature that provides a rating of local schools by parents, will enable them to make more informed decisions.
"It's gratifying to work with the leader in real estate search and with more than 12 million visitors per month, our school and neighborhood boundaries data will help power a huge number of searches," said Darrin Clement, CEO of Maponics. "This is a great example of how important schools and neighborhoods are in real estate decisions and demonstrates that our data is quickly becoming the standard in real estate search."
