Move One's Collaboration With the Musical Instrument Museum

Online, April 21, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Move One is proud to be a faithful partner of a unique project, the Musical Instrument Museum, in Phoenix, Arizona.

The collaboration between Move One and the MIM started in Bratislava, Tashkent and Bishkek more than a year and a half ago. These first collaborations were soon to be followed by new shipments handled by Move One's teams in Almaty, Yerevan, and Kyzyl. For each of these shipments, Move One packed and organized all the required export formalities for several traditional musical instruments from these regions. The instruments were then all shipped to Phoenix to take their places as part of the MIM's extensive collection collection.

Currently Move One's Afghan team are organizing the shipment of nine traditional instruments from Kabul to Arizona.

MIM is the world's first global musical instrument museum and displays musical instruments from nearly 200 countries and territories in the world, preserving, protecting, and sharing these gifts for future generations.

The instruments have both historic and artistic merit and many are more than 50 years old. Museum guests enjoy a close encounter with the instruments themselves, enhanced by state-of-the art audio and video that bring to life the sounds and sights of these instruments as experienced in their cultures of origin.
