Phuket, Thailand: Swiss hotel operator Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of their second property in Phuket, Thailand; Mövenpick Residences Bangtao Beach Phuket.

The resort was formerly known as The Palm Beach Club and is located on Bang Tao Beach on the West Coast of Phuket.

According to a Mövenpick spokesperson, the company will take over management of the Palm Beach Club and rebrand it as Mövenpick Residences Bangtao Beach Phuket with immediate effect.

The resort has thirty nine suites and penthouses. A small number of units have a private swimming pool or a Jacuzzi. On-site facilities include a large communal swimming pool, restaurant, fitness centre and spa.
