The winner receive prizes worth over $30,000 worth of prizes, and she secures a spot at Mrs. America, the "Super bowl for Married Women." The national pageant will be held later this year in Tucson, Arizona .

The current titleholder, Mrs. DC America 2013, Meagan Barnes, placed in the top 15 at the national, Mrs. America pageant.
