MTDA Focuses on Transparency and Effectiveness to Shape Indian Medical Tourism

Medical tourism development alliance (MTDA) organized one day national Medical Tourism Meet for facilitators and interpreters on January 9, 2016 Saturday at Hotel River View, New Delhi under the president ship of Prof. S Inayat Ali Zaidi, Head Tourism Department, Jamia Millia Islamia. Mr. Ahmad Fardin Zalali - Commercial Councillor - Embassy of Afghanistan was Chief Guest.

Medical tourism development alliance (MTDA) organized one day National Medical Tourism Meet for facilitators and interpreters in collaboration with Al-Shifa on January 9, 2016 Saturday at Hotel River View, New Delhi under the president ship of Prof. S Inayat Ali Zaidi, Head Tourism Department, Jamia Millia Islamia. Mr. Ahmad Fardin Zalali - Commercial Councillor - Embassy of Afghanistan was Chief Guest.

Dr. B. K. Rana, Joint Director of NABH focused on importance of MTDA draft and further work plan. He has participated the event as guest of honor. He said that there is huge business scope in the industry of Medical tourism and this is a right time to pull the shocks harder as present government is very supportive and has a special agenda for the medical tourism. NABH is planning to shape up the business model of medical tourism with the cooperation of ministry of commerce. He further said currently NABH are working on preparing medical tourism quality care regulation which will be honorary basis.

Dr. S. S. Bansal manager director of Metro Hospital group and renowned cardiologist complimented the interpreters and their services saying that he has 0% negativity or complaints from interpreters till now as he experiences the industry for long time. He stated that patients are 100% safe with the interpreters/facilitators than anyone else because medical tourism stakeholders do their best to provide better services and patient’s care.

Mr. Mohammad Afzal Siddiqui, General Secretary of MTDA explained the vision and mission of the MTDA. He said MTDA is single voice of Medical Tourism Industry in India with the aims of empower Indian medical tourism and healthcare providers. He further said that MTDA is playing a vital role to make India one of the most popular destinations for medical tourism in the world. We united the Indian healthcare travel sector to create an effective and sustainable medical tourism with MORAL and ETHICAL values.

Prof. S Inayat Ali Zaidi as President were marked their respective presence. On their speech they were very much satisfied with the services of interpreters. They explained how professionally they are dedicated to patient care.

Mr. Obaidullah, President Serving Human and founder member of MTDA said that At MTDA we understand the importance of both traditional and regular medical procedures. We strive hard to strike a balance between the two and promote both procedures. For this we have plan to tie up with various government bodies, which promote Indian systems of medication such as AYUSH - Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.

Mr. Abdul Hafiz, secretary of MTDA said that medical interpreters are integral part of Indian Medical tourism and with their dedicated works this industry is booming. MDTA also announced its official web address as www.mtda.org.in for every medical tourism professional and global patients.

Mr. Anas Wajid, Director Sales & Marketing, Max Healthcare, Mr. Navin Pascal, AGM- International Business, Fortis Healthcare, Mrs. Renu Vij, Head- International Marketing, Artemis Hospital, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Head- International Marketing, JayPee Hospital, Mr. Naved Khan, Senior Advisor Miracles Hospital also addressed the gathering. Along with Mr. Alok Akaila, Mr. Rahmat Alam, Mr. Absar Khan, Mr. Anwaruddin, Mr. Imdad Rabbani more than 350 expert of Medical tourism industry have been participated and made it successful and meaningful event.
