Dan Murphy retired from the Nassau County (NY) Sheriff's Department, following a highly successful 25 year career. He is a licensed private investigator, and was the editor of the campus newsletter for the School of Labor Studies at the SUNY College at Old Westbury. He earned a Master's degree in human resource management from Stony Brook University. Dan lives in Tennessee.

Christopher Murphy is the author of the hilarious screenplay, Hard Up- The Adventures of Cory and Josh. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Stony Brook University. He lives in New York.
