Music and Voice Tutors Announces New Summer Camps

Online, June 15, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Music and Voice Tutors Music School (a non-profit company) was established in 2009. Its Mission is to support and empower the community by using music education as a tool for improved and higher education on all levels. This institution provides superior music instruction. The goal is to prepare students and future leaders that can and will positively impact the community.

Guitar Camp: June 27th - July 1st; JULY 11 -15 (2 sessions)
Music and Voice Tutors Music School is offering a week long Guitar Camp for elementary through high school age music students who are interested in learning to play or improving their skill on guitar. Students may attend either one or both weeks of the camp which run Monday - Friday, June 27th - July 1st and JULY 11 -15, from 10am - 2:00pm.

The program gives all students the opportunity to develop musicianship, collaborate with other musicians and gain confidence in performance. The curriculum includes tools to develop foundational skills, music theory, how to play chords and songs. Students will be placed according to their musical age and performance level. Prior experience is not required. Students can expect to walk away with a fundamental knowledge of guitar playing.

The Guitar Camps will be held at 635 Veile Ave. Beaumont, CA 92223. No audition is necessary. $49 per session a limited number of scholarships are available. Instrument required.

Concert Band Camp: June 20th - June 1st; JULY 18 -22 (2 sessions)
Music and Voice Tutors Music School is offering a week long Concert Band Camp for elementary through high school age music students who desire to improve their skills on band instruments. Such instruments would include woodwinds, brass, percussion. Students may attend either one or both weeks of the camp which run Monday - Friday, June 20th - June 24th and JULY 18 -22, from 10am -2:00pm.

The Concert Band program gives all students the opportunity to develop musicianship, collaborate with other musicians and gain confidence in performance. The curriculum includes tools to develop foundational skills, improved sight reading, music theory, style development, music history, concert, and special guests and instructors from University of Redlands Music School. Students will be placed according to their musical age and performance level. Prior experience is required. Students can expect to learn how to take their playing to the next level.

Rock Band Camp: Starts June 20th - ongoing (throughout the summer)
Music and Voice Tutors Music School is offering a special Rock Band Camp for middle school through high school age music students who are interested in experiencing the dynamics of putting together and functioning in a high energy band environment. There will be a one week intensive Monday - Friday, June 20th - June 24th from 10am - 2:00pm. The intensive will be followed by ongoing rehearsals and projects.

Rock Band Camp will be our own "Making of the Band" style experience. We will help you transform into a functioning Rock Band with a great knowledge of what makes a band work, how to avoid pitfalls, and how to market your band or yourself. There will be a video to commemorate your experience. Our video expert will teach you how to make a music video. Music and Voice Tutors will provide "premium" instructors from our line-up of professionals to provide a learning experience unparalleled in the pass area. Our curriculum is designed to help students achieve their goals of playing masterfully in a band. There will also be special guest appearances and performances.
