My Improv Traffic School Embraces Social Media
Seeking to reach new and existing customers, My Improv Traffic School has embarked on an aggressive social media campaign to promote their work and connect with users at all levels.
Online, April 9, 2012 (Newswire.com) - My Improv Traffic School has been helping drivers keep points off their license for more than decade, long before social media was anything more than a blog and a bulletin board. However, they recognize that today's customers (and tomorrow's) are increasingly turning to social media to connect with their favorite brands. That's why they have started using social media in all its many and varied forms.
Currently the My Improv brand uses three separate web sites, three blogs (updated three times per week, each), a Facebook Business Page, a Twitter account, a Google+ Business Page, and assorted article listing sites to get out their message.
And what is their message? Drive defensively, of course.
"We felt that if we wanted to maximize our reach and get our message out to the widest possible audience, social media was the way to do it," said Jerry Battiste, social media manager for My Improv. "We use a mix of information about our company and our online traffic schools and information intended to help people drive more safely."
So far, all this social media interaction has paid off handsomely. The My Improv Facebook Page boasts more than 8,200 'Likes' and the My Improv Twitter account, already with more than 1,100 Followers, adds more than a dozen new Followers every day.
And this is just the beginning when it comes to how they intend to use social media to encourage everyone to drive defensively.
This month My Improv Traffic School will launch a full-fledged social media marketing campaign in support of Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
"By using social media we can keep our students, our future students and anyone who drives up-to-date on the latest safety information on a moment's notice," Battiste said. "That's a lot of power wielded for good and we hope there is no limit to what we can accomplish with it."
