NAIOP New Jersey Seminar to Focus on Energy Efficiency
Experts will make the Business Case for more Efficient Office and Industrial Buildings
Online, September 26, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Energy efficiency as a sustainability factor can't be understated, but what about the "business case" for more efficient office and industrial buildings? Both factors will be up for discussion on October 10, 2012 when NAIOP New Jersey will present a seminar, "Re-Energize Your Buildings!" Slated for the Sheraton Edison Hotel from 7:45 to 11:30 a.m., the program will feature three expert panels discussing the business case for energy efficiency - the latest technology for office and industrial buildings and the incentives, implementation and compliance to support it.
With relatively little new construction taking place, far greater energy savings can be achieved by improving the efficiency of existing buildings. Panelists will provide answers for such key questions as 'how do I evaluate my building's energy savings potential?' How do owners, brokers and tenants benefit? What is a realistic Return on Investment (ROI)? What type of technology is available and appropriate for my building? What incentives are available and how do I qualify?
Confirmed presenters include Brad Molotsky of Brandywine Realty Trust, Rob Crespi of Wolff & Samson, Jeff Grant of Mack-Cali Realty, Josh Avidan of Avidan Management, Jeffrey M. Miller of Lee & Associates, David Galante of GSH Group, Ed Klimek of KSS Architects, Betsy Ackerman of the New Jersey BPU, Greg Hale of the Natural Resource Defense Council and Steve Kisker of Wolff & Samson.
One Continuing Education Unit (CEU) has been approved for seminar attendees, and two more are pending. For more information or to register, visit http://www.naiopnj.org/, or call (732) 729-9900.
