Online, September 26, 2012 (Newswire.com) - National Pawn has been named by the Garner Chamber Commerce as finalists in two categories of the 2012 Summit Awards: The Wells Fargo Integrity in Business Award, and The McDonald's Entrepreneurial Award. The Summit Awards is an annual awards program that celebrates the achievements of local businesses in Wake and Johnston County that have gone above and beyond in their business practices to provide excellent customer service, promote and preserve integrity in business, utilize innovative ideas, and retain steady growth. Earlier this year the Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina announced National Pawn as winner of its 2011 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
"I am very happy that National Pawn as a finalist in two categories of this prestigious award," said Bob Moulton, president of National Pawn and the 2011 National Pawnbroker of the Year. "To be recognized by the Garner Chamber of Commerce as one of the most ethical and innovative businesses in the Triangle is an honor."
Summit Awards entries were evaluated by an independent panel of out-of-state judges. Winners will be recognized in an awards ceremony at the Garner Chamber of Commerce 2012 Annual Meeting and Banquet on September 27, 2012.
