Graham, NC-November 18, 2009-WebSpark Design released (MyCodeSpark.com) a new online system that will shorten web development time during extension creation from 8 hours to about 15 seconds. Code Spark creates the basic framework of an extension providing you with an installable component ready to be customized. The system will create all files, sql queries, installables, and information needed for a complete robust properly coded extension. Code Spark generates code in the correct, approved, Model-View-Controller method for both the front and admin sides.

Code Spark was written as a way to speed up development time during extension creation by offering a quick-launch, rapid development method for creating the basics of an extension.

David Hurley, CEO of WebSpark Design and the creator of this new time saving code, "I found myself wasting time when creating extension after extension writing the same functions over and over again. I felt I could write a framework that would generate the base framework that I needed and allow me to save dozens of hours of development time." Consequently, MyCodeSpark.com was formed.

Caleb Nance, a website graphic developer said, "It's a little hard at first to use but once you understand the system it saves hours of writing code and makes life a lot easier."

The Code Spark system is available at www.mycodespark.com. It is offered free to any user. Simply navigate to the website, upload your XML file and it will generate the controller definitions for you. Currently, this system is in Alpha release and under active development. A stable release date has not been announced.
