Nebraska Musician Releases "Super Cool" New EP
Online, April 6, 2011 (Newswire.com) - A Super Cool musical breeze is blowing across the plains this spring, piquing interests and warming hearts all along Interstate 80.
George Burl, a folk/bluegrass musician from Nebraska will be playing a few shows in both Colorado and his home state, peppering the countryside with unique songs from his self-recorded EP's. The newest of these EP's, "I'm Super Cool," will be officially released for digital download on April 15th. Liner notes, along with great music to drive away your tax-day blues are available with this downloadable version.
Previously, Burl described his music as having "all the passion of Bluegrass, but with far less consistency." Recently, however, his music has taken a more organic turn, taking inspiration from anything he can get his hands on.
Each song on "I'm Super Cool" brings with it a personal memento. From a Facebook status-inspired song with "Neil is Everywhere," to the cries of Burl's newborn son in the background of "Gotta Get Warm," this EP will take you on an honest musical adventure that can only be described as "Super Cool."
If you'd like to see George in action, he'll be playing a show on Thursday, April 7th at the Lion's Lair in Denver, CO. He'll also be opening for the multi-talented Shawn Cole at Lexington, NE's Box Bar on May 13th and Hastings, NE's Bullseye Sports Bar on May 14th.
