Grand Bahama resident Victoria Wilchcombe has had her debut sci-fi novel, “Neob”, published by leading London publishing house Austin Macauley.
Victoria’s writing is inspired by the numerous folk-tales she was told growing up on the island of Grand Bahama, stating “they are stories you can't hear anywhere else”.
“Neob” is a traditional sci-fi sure to delight readers everywhere, with a plot that contains a planet, a dominant force, an intruder and a large supporting cast.
Victoria Wilchcombe lives and works on the beautiful Island of Grand Bahama. She grew up in a single parent home as the youngest of eight children. When she wasn't climbing trees and squabbling with her siblings she spent her time helping out in the farm, lying on the floor with her sketch pad or reading until she fell asleep. Her love of the written word has remained with her to this day and now when she isn't working she enjoys spending time with family and putting to paper her next adventure.
