Neoris Jumps Ahead in Latin America IT Consulting Ranking According to Independent Research Firm

As Brazil and Colombia boost investment in their infrastructure, many technology consultancies in the US are angling for a piece of the business. Miami-based Neoris is one company that's succeeding.

Neoris announced today that IDC has ranked the company among Latin America's top IT consultancies based on aggregate revenue, growth and market share for 2010, led by a strong showing in Colombia and Brazil. According to IDC's Latin America Semiannual IT Services Tracker 2010, Neoris retained the number two spot for the sixth year in a row in IT Consulting, outperforming more than 150 other IDC-ranked companies and improving on its ranking in several countries in the region.

IDC's Latin America Semiannual IT Services Tracker 2010 provides vendors with complete market statistics, trends, and forecasts covering 12 services markets. IDC examines and analyzes the top 154 service providers' performance in revenue, growth, and market share in Latin America.

Neoris is ranked the largest IT Consulting and Systems Integration firm in Mexico, one of Latin America's biggest markets, for the seventh year in a row. In Colombia, Neoris improved its ranking and is now the second largest IT Consulting Company. In Argentina, Neoris maintained the ranking of second largest IT Consulting Company, and in Brazil, Latin America's fastest-growing market, Neoris improved its ranking, to be among the top 15 in this category.

"Neoris still leads all companies by a significant margin for IT Consulting and Systems Integration in Mexico, and in Brazil and Colombia we are growing at a significant rate by capturing market share in such areas as telecommunications, banking, healthcare and manufacturing," said Claudio Muruzabal, CEO of Neoris. "With today's news and with our recent certification as the only Latin America-born company to become an SAP global services partner, Neoris has affirmed its position as the company for customers that want to increase market share, establish new growth platforms, extend geographic coverage, add capabilities, and divest to focus on core businesses and competencies. It's not just about technology, but also about delivery, execution and long-term support. That is the Neoris way."

According to IDC Predictions 2011 in January, Latin America's IT Services spending is forecast to grow 9.1% and overall IT spending to rise 6.3% in 2011. The same study predicted that Latin America will continue to expand at a fast pace in 2011, with the region's IT Services expected to grow 3.9 times faster than developed economies' markets.
