A new social network has launched to help African Americans start and grow their own businesses. The site, Honor Black Wall Street, was founded by Darrell Davis as a place for Black entrepreneurs to come together, network and grow in honor of the Tulsa, Oklahoma community that was burned to the ground by angry mobs of white people.

Davis said,"One way to honor Black Wall Street is to learn from their example of what people of color can do when we pool our resources."

Honor Black Wall Street will also promote the use of the internet for business opportunity. according to Davis, the internet allows people with little or no start-up capital a chance to thrive in the business world.
