NeuLife Rehabilitation Receives 3-Year CARF Accreditation
Accreditation awarded by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)
Mount Dora, FL, January 6, 2017 (Newswire.com) - NeuLife Rehabilitation is proud to announce that they have received three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). NeuLife was surveyed in November 2016 and it was awarded accreditation for their Residential Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Specialty Programs.
CARF accreditation is an internationally recognized benchmark indicator of quality services in the rehabilitation industry. This three-year renewable accreditation serves as a validation of NeuLife’s dedication to its patients by continually improving services, implementing state-of-the-art technologies and adherence to strict quality and safety standards.
This achievement is a reflection of our dedication and commitment to providing the highest quality of care to the patients we serve. I'm incredibly proud of our interdisciplinary team of clinicians and administrators. We strive to provide exceptional rehabilitation for patients that have experienced a catastrophic injury through our Post-Acute Neuro and Spinal Rehabilitation Programs.
Robert Bunker, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NeuLife
“CARF accreditation is the “gold seal” of rehabilitation practice, and this achievement is a reflection of the proven outcomes we’re continuously achieving through evidence-based practice,” said Lydia Hendrix, RN, BSN, MS, CRRN, Chief Operating Officer of NeuLife. “In order to receive accreditation, facilities are evaluated against rigorous criteria. NeuLife met and exceeded the strict standards of performance.”
Accreditation is awarded following thorough internal examination and an on-site inspection conducted by expert practitioners selected by CARF. During the survey, the provider must demonstrate compliance to a series of rigorous and internationally recognized CARF standards. Following approval of CARF accreditation, NeuLife must report ongoing improvements to programs and services as evidence of continual improvement.
