Never Wait in Line Again: Sneak Preview at NRF Retail Innovation Conference
AisleBuyer Introduces the Smart Phone Application to End Checkout Lines
Online, March 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Today at the National Retail Federation Retail Innovation and Marketing Conference in San Francisco, CA, during "Brick and Mortar 2.0" at 1:25pm, AisleBuyer™ (www.AisleBuyer.com) will give retailers a sneak preview of a new technology that will end waiting in checkout lines for consumers everywhere. Until today, shoppers have waited in lines and often been unable to find store assistance while shopping in retail stores. "I think everyone is tired of waiting in lines, and now they'll never have to again," said Andrew Paradise, CEO of AisleBuyer.
Upon entering a retail store, shoppers who have iPhones and Droids can download the Aisle Buyer application to their phones and use it to scan items for product information, reviews and more. When shoppers are ready to purchase items, they can checkout instantly using the AisleBuyer application on their phone. AisleBuyer announced today that the Company plans to launch its application to the public within the next couple of months.
AisleBuyer provides benefits to both consumers and retailers including:
• Never Wait In Line Again. Shoppers can checkout instantly on their own mobile Smart Phones.
• Virtual Shopping Assistant. Shoppers can read reviews, additional product information, and more, while standing in the aisle. AisleBuyer also provides helpful product suggestions for the shopper such as batteries or memory cards for products that need them but do not contain them in the package.
• Retailer Benefits AisleBuyer increases in-store revenue, reduces in-store labor costs, improves the efficiency of retailer marketing dollars, and improves the shopping experience of customers.
• Green and Environmentally Friendly AisleBuyer removes the need for paper receipts and in-store paper circulars for coupons/discounts. In the United States alone, the process to make receipts and the receipts themselves generate approximately 1.5 billion pounds of trash per year.
