New Avon Beauty Center Celebrates Grand Opening in Tri-Cities

Online, September 27, 2010 (Newswire.com) - (Johnson City, TN) - The first Avon Beauty Center licensed in the Tri-Cities will host its grand opening on Oct. 4-8th. The store is the first in this district, and the only one in Tennessee.

Consumers are familiar with Avon representatives "Avon Ladies" providing books from which they select products they wish to order. Online Avon stores are also popular and make it easy to order products. Both of these sales channels continue to thrive.

The regional retail store, a new concept for Avon, is a freestanding location where customers can touch and sample products before they buy them. Paula Dukes, owner, said, "The real beauty of the store is that customers have an opportunity to learn about and try both new and existing products. They test products they may want to purchase."

The Avon store is stocked with everyone's favorite products as well as new products and specials. Visitors during the grand opening receive a free gift plus are entered for the Friday night grand prize drawing of an Avon gift basket valued at over $200.00. A wine tasting and chocolate fountain event concludes the grand opening on Friday evening from 6-8 pm.

Dukes has more than 100 representatives on her team, and the location also serves as a training center for local Avon representatives. It is a place where she and her team can share successes, new product information, consumer literature, etc.
