The Ayurveda School has recently announced its newest offering of the Ayurvedic Health Educator Program in 2012 in English and Spanish.
Online, February 6, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Ayurvedic Medicine is traditionally from India. While a medical science, its scope enters into the realms of the spirit and the transformation of consciousness. Its fundamental philosophy is that disease is the end result of living out of harmony with our environment. It believes that in order to re-establish optimal health, onemust discover where one is living out of harmony and then adopt an appropiate life style.
Ayurveda allows us to get a glimpse of our individual true nature and to find the best ways to live a life of balance. It provides holistic understanding and healing to people on all levels: physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Ayurveda uses a multitude of healing modalities including herbs, diet, colors, aromas, sound, lifestyle recommendations, Pancha Karma, meditation, and yoga. More and more people are discovering that these ancient principles are easily applicable to modern life and that they have the power to create health and contentment.
The California College of Ayurveda is the first state-approved college for the study of Ayurvedic medicine in the United States. Committed to excellence, the Ayurveda School offers a variety of training programs in both English and Spanish.
The Ayurvedic Health Educator program is available for the serious student wishing to integrate their training in Ayurveda with an existing health care degree, massage or Yoga certification, or to receive the knowledge for personal growth and self-healing. This training can be combined with our Ayurvedic Massage and Body Therapy certification (ABT Level I), allowing graduates to become licensed Massage Therapists in the state of California and perform Ayurvedic massage and Spa therapies.
The AHE Program is now available full time in the Spring. The program begins March 10th, 2012. For more information about this course please visit http://www.ayurvedacollege.com or http://www.escuelaayurveda.com. Programs in Spanish are offered in Colombia, Mexico and Argentina.
