Online, August 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Hobblin Hog BBQ Sauce, a new line of gourmet barbeque sauces, launches its new website this week. Arkansas based partners Pat Kelly and Carrie Gibson combine their individual skills to bring these new sauces to the online barbeque market, laced with good humor and just a pinch of biker.
Pat, a biker himself, was the long time owner of Gators, a floating restaurant in between the always competitive North Little Rock and Little Rock of Arkansas on the Arkansas River. It was here that Pat honed his BBQ Sauces to perfection.
Carrie intimated, "Gators was a great place to go to grab a bite. They had wonderful burgers and other fare. I remember pulling our boat up to its side many times after enjoying a day on the lake for our crew to load up on good food, good music and continue our good time. It was one of those laid back places where bikers, boaters and family were all mixed up together. It was the place to be. When Pat said he had a line of sauces he wanted to market, I told him, "I'm in!"
Asked if she ever road a bike to the restaurant, "Just once with a group of bikers from church, believe it or not! They made me an honorary biker for the day. I think it was a Bikers For Christ group or something. I had a blast!"
Carrie provides the marketing skills and organizational skills which have recently launched their new website: http://www.HobblinHog.com.
Pat added, "I just want to share my BBQ Sauce and let others enjoy it as much as I do. I've had fun cooking, running my restaurant. I think eating is a part of every good time and I like to have a good time!"
Carrie and Pat have big plans for the site including a BBQ forum where barbeque hopefuls and would-be bbq sauce makers can compare notes, ask questions and maybe even sell their own sauces one day.
"We decided to launch the Hobblin Hog BBQ site with good old fashioned information about barbecue. We are including recipes for BBQ sauces and various other dishes on a regular basis.
When asked about the seeming contradiction in interests by selling BBQ sauce and offering free sauce recipes, Pat remarked, "We just want our site to be a place where folks who enjoy barbeque want to be. We want to be the bbq hang out so to speak. And folks who are sitting around, and talking barbeque are going to share recipes and techniques and ideas about how to make even great tasting barbeque better. We aren't threatened. We just want to have fun!"
Thirteen sauces are scheduled for production before Christmas. Three are included in the launch: Tropical Paradise, South of the Border and BeerBQ. All three will be available for purchase from the site in the coming weeks.
"We are slapping labels on them right now!" Pat responded when asked about the line.
