New Brand of Religious T-shirts Uses Technology to Spread Bible Teachings

Online, June 20, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Pi-e-t (pronounced piety) is a new company based in South Florida that started with the mission of designing high quality Christian apparel that would appeal to the Christian community and general population.

The company launched in May 2012 with a line of high quality Christian t-shirts with modern designs and trendy colors. All of the designs are inspired by a passage of the Bible. As part of the design, the shirts include a code that, when scanned with a smartphone, directs the user to the Biblical passage that inspired the design.

The company launched with designs that contain small phrases in English. The related Bible passage can be read in English or in Spanish after scanning the shirt. de Obaldia comments: "We plan to introduce t-shirts in Spanish in the near future. We have received multiple requests from the Spanish-speaking community for shirts in Spanish. It also happens to be my mother tongue!"
