New Car Sales of 2010 Feature Diesel Cars Too

Most of the car manufacturers are now coming out with the latest car models that work on diesel. There are several reasons for this sort of shift in the paradigm.

Recession is the talk of the day. It is the most common and prominent factor that is influencing the current new car sales. Most of the cars that were earlier manufactured worked on gas. The recent years have witnessed a sudden rise in the price of fuel especially the gas. It is obvious that sooner or later gas is going to become unaffordable, compelling the cars to be driven by diesel, the cheaper fuel. The situation is going to worsen because the income of the people has substantially reduced.

The government has become stricter regarding the pollution caused by the emissions of the cars. It is because of this that the diesel engines need to be upgraded. This has lead to a bit of increase in the costing of the diesel driven cars. While researching for new car buying some may find the diesel cars to be expensive but if the fuel consumption is to be compared, one may find the diesel cars to be cheaper in the longer run.

The car market is now driven by the customers and customer satisfaction. The changing times have compelled the car manufacturers to design new luxury cars that can run on diesel.

AutoDriver tries to facilitate the car buyers with the latest information and the trend in the car market and industry. Audi is going to launch a car working B5 biodiesel. BMW has already launched two diesel cars. The Mercedes-Benz is going to add E350 to its famous Blutec Diesel line in the later part of the year. Volkswagen is going to launch three models running on B5 biodiesel. Some of the manufacturers that are not going to offer any diesel models in the year 2010 are Buick, Chrysler, Jeep, Ford, Hyundai, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Saturn, Toyota, Saab Nissan, Mercury, Lincoln, Kia, Honda, Dodge, Chevrolet , Cadillac, and Acura.
