New Children's Radio Show

Online, November 13, 2012 (Newswire.com) - I Am Falcon." is a six part narrative lead, drama for children aged 7 and older that highlights our bird of prey population. Set in Ireland, the series is delivered from the perspective of a Mother Peregrine Falcon telling her story to her young.

Abandoned as a young bird she had no idea who or what species she is. In her
journey to finding out about her origins, she discovers many things about Ireland's Bird of Prey species. And through her story, we learn the plight of Ireland's extinct birds, and our native
birds of prey. The story unfolds using drama, narration and music, recounting a tale that takes our herione into dark places as well as helping meet up with some helpful birds of prey
is sure to enthral.

The series was written and produced by Jho Harris and Sinead Mc Clure of Sligo based All Points West Audio Productions who have previously created 'Spike The Hedgehog and The Magical Pocket of Time' and 'Turlough Tales' for the national digital children's channel RTE Junior Radio. The production also features the voices of Jho and Sinead as well as Hazel Mc Lynn, Richard Carroll and Peter Mc Parland. The music, though mainly production elements also features children's favourites by Grieg, Debussy, Bellini, and Tchaikovsky

The series begins on RTE Junior Radio on Saturday 17th of November at 9am and continues for six weeks.
